Boston: Little, Brown, 1883-01-01. Hardcover. Acceptable. 8 volume set. Bound in contemporary 3/4 leather over colorfully marbled boards. All edges marbled. 3 vols leather spine labels are chipped. All volumes have minor shelf wear. The bindings are generally sound. The hinge of the Count Frontenac volume has a crack. The pages are unmarked. Includes the following works by Francis Parkman: The Oregon Trail, The Conspiracy of Pontiac and the Indian War After the Conquest of Canada (2 vols.), France and England in North America: The Pioneers of France in the New World, La Salle and the Discovery of the Great West, The Old Regime in Canada, The Jesuits in North America in the Seventeenth Century, Count Frontenac and New France under Louis XIV.
