Front cover detached, both covers worn with leather and layers of board chipping off, back hinge cracked, old library sticker on spie, spine leather rubbed and beginning to crack, ends chipped. Meeting library plate and presentation inscription from 1871 inside front cover, missing front end papers, name decoratively drawn in in old hand on back free end paper, pages browned and moderately foxed, text block tight [Covers poor, interior near good.] Smith II:961 . Vintage Quaker Books sells books by, for, and about Quakers (Religious Society of Friends) and a variety of other Christian books. The Corner Bookshop is a general used bookstore located in a cozy basement under/behind the main shopping street of Front Street in Bath, Maine.
