Philadelphia: John D. Morris and Company, 1902. Very Good. No Dust Jacket VOLUME 4. LIMITED TO 1000 NUMBERED SETS and this is number 609! PEREGRINE PICKLE PARTS III and IV. Wow a very nice edition here. Only slight bump to the corners. Book is holding nicely the corners are bumped but no appreciable edgewear. Slight edgewear to the corners, but ever so slight. Golden patina on the page edge. Minor scuff to the covers. Worthwhile!. Hard Cover. Good.

Black and white illustrated frontispiece and title page. Gilded text block edges. Cracking to hinges causing boards to be loose. Binding throughout remains firm. Pages are moderately tanned with noticeable foxing throughout. More pronounced towards the start and end of the book. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and noticeable rubbing to surfaces. Visible sunning to spine and edges with some crushing to spine ends. Small splits to spine ends causing cloth to be frayed.

Original, handsome dark green cloth binding, bevelled edges to boards, gilt lettering and decoration to the spine, very good with a little general wear and rubbing, gilt decoration and lettering all bright, very small mark to rear board. Top edge gilt. Contents clean and tight, original brown end papers, no inscriptions, occasional spotting to first and last few pages. A very good copy. Nimmo's Standard Library edition..
