London: Hutchinson, 1957. TRUE FIRST EDITION. Gold title and motif on blue boards which are clean with a minor stain to back and just a tinge of fading to spine head. Internally there is a small spot to front pastedown else very clean, tight and unmarked. Dustjacket has a small repaired closed tear and some wear to edges and is not price clipped. Coloured portrait from the painting by Grace Wheatley. 176 pages. From the age of eleven onwards Lady Baden-Powell kept a diary regularly and from them the author has gleaned many arresting anecdotes about her childhood, her service in the Scout Recreation Hut in France in the First World War and her gradually increasing interest in the Guide Movement. B2C. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
