Published by Collins, 1958. Hardback. Good/Very Good. Good condition in a very good dustwrapper. New Naturalist No. 29. Green cloth, gilt titles. Two colour photos and 87 b/w photos. Reprint. Text block browned and foxed. Pastedowns have surface paper loss (tape removal?). Front endpaper has previous owner's personalised bookplate and date in ink. A few pencil annotations to margins else clean. Pictorial dustwrapper is faded to spine (normal for this series) and a little grubby to rear panel.
