Two thrillers by James Hadley Chase, including a first edition of The World in My Pocket. Found in the unclipped dust wrapper. Two volumes by thriller writer James Hadley Chase, including a first edition copy of The World in My Pocket. Found int he unclipped dust wrapper. Having written ninety thrillers, fifty of which have been made into films, Chase was dubbed the king of thriller writers in twentieth century Europe. He was well-known by his other pseudonyms Raymond Marshall, R. Raymond, and Ambrose Grant. In the publisher's original cloth binding, found in the unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, smart. Lightly bumped to extremities and to the head and tail of the spine. I'll bury my dead has a couple of closed tears in the wrap to the front board, a chip to the spine, and some general edgewear. Internally, firmly bound. Aside from some foxing to the fore edge of the text block, pages are bright and clean. Very Good Indeed
