This work is an attempt to afford a practical and comprehensive survey of the living birds of the world.The illustrations are mostly from living specimens now or formerly in the collection of the London Zoological Society, there are over 50 illustrations. There is a small pen inscription inside and some tanning to end pages. The cover is a little worn on the edges and has a cup mark on the back.
