Offutt (here as Andy Offut), with his award-winning story, "And Gone Tomorrow" (December) and a promotional editorial on Offutt and his story (November). The story addresses "what will life be like in 100 years?", written when Offutt was a junior at University of Louisville; he contests that government will be total autocracy.
