This is the Riverside Edition of The Writings of Harriet Beecher stowe with Biographical Introductions, Portriats, and Other Illustrations in Sixteen Volumes: Volume XIII." 459 p., clean and unmarked, except former owner's name on front paste dow, on fine paper; frontis. ill. with yellowed but intact tissue guard has faint stain on upper corner and on matching corner on verso; ill. on half t.p., and engraved colophon on t.p. Binding firm, closed tear at upper portion of uncracked front gutter. Olive-green boards with still bright lettering and ornamentation clean and unfaded, but with slight edge wear.
