About This Item

New York: Grosset & Dunlap, 1967. Hardcover. Small 8vo. Color pictorial paper over boards. 176pp. Line drawings, pictorial endpapers. Very good. Faint edgewear; nonauthorial gift inscription on contents page. Tight, quite nice later printing of the first volume of this short-lived juvenile series about "Christopher Cool / Teen Agent" -- Ivy League college student Chris and his Apache roommate Geronimo Johnson work undercover for U.S. intelligence (T.E.E.N. being an acronym for "Top-Secret Educational Espionage Network"), taking advantage of the craze for spy stuff such as James Bond, "Man from U.N.C.L.E.," "I Spy," "Get Smart," etc.
