Edwards, Welsh-language writer and preacher, went to Oxford, to the university printer, to print Ffydd ddi-ffuant (1667), a book that he had no doubt been preparing during the previous few years. It was further changed and improved by 1671 when the second edition was published. In 1677 he returned to Oxford to print the third edition 'with Augmentation'. This was Y ffydd ddi-ffuant, sef, Hanes y ffydd Gristianogol, a'i rhinwedd, which became a classic of Welsh prose. See ODNB. WILLIAMS, PETER, cleric and author See NLW WBO.
