s.n, 1985. Booklet (Saddle Stitched). Very Good. Unmarked. 10 large color plates of Vinkovetsky's work. Booklet measures 12 inches square. 13p. Russian artist Short introduction by John E. Bowlt. Photoportrait of the artist by Alexander Kogan (Houston, 1982). Yakov Vinkovetsky (1938-84) eventually emigrated to the US where he worked as a geologist. As an artist he participated in the famous exhibition of unofficial art in Gaza Cultural Center (1974) and took part in a struggle for artistic freedom in the former Soviet Union.
