Former owner's red ink "ex libris" stamp on Title page and last blank page. No other marks. Near Fine complete dust jacket with some soiling and rubbing along its top edge, but with no tears or fading, and protected in a clear plastic cover. Tight binding. Fabulous collection of B&W photos taken in the Sahara, primarily Niger and Chad, around 1950 by Peter W. Haeberlin. Polished off by Paul Bowles' prophetic narrative.
