Sunning to spine. Age-tanned. A little chipping to edges but now Mylar protected. Red lettering to spine and front of blue cloth-covered boards. Illustrated endpapers. Clean, bright, tight. 304 pp. Stories from whalers out of Sag Harbor, New Bedford, Nantucket, and New London to the waters of the Atlantic, Pacific and from the Arctic to the Antarctic. Great captains such as Pollard, Chase, Hussey, and Tilton "sail their way through the incredible tales in this book.
