General review of the year (1912 with an addendum on January-May 1913.) Kriegspiel (an explanatory article on the game of Kriegspiel by W H Stephens including illustrative games) Leading events of the year with games. Problem section with 40 problems edited by P H Williams. Brilliancies (7 brilliant games). Directory of chess clubs, leagues, associations. Masters' averages for 1912. Addendum includes games from events to May 1913. Condition: Spine ends rubbed, some soiling, book plate to front paste-down, corners bumped else very good.
