London: Evans Brothers Limited. Very Good- in Fair dust jacket. 1950. First Edition. Hardcover. 384 p. 22 cm. Sound and square binding in cloth-covered boards. Fading along the top and bottom edges and the spine ends. Some soil to both boards and the text block edges. Endpapers lightly toned. "This Book Belongs To: " has been completed in ink. Inside pages are clean and unmarked. The dust jacket has heavy wear to the spine ends and corners, including paper loss, long and short tears, and creases. It has been reinforced on the reverse side with cello tape in several places. A collection of articles that provide advice to girls about growing up and facing a wide range of choices dealing with personal care, how to act at home, leisure activities, sport, and careers. The authors include Elizabeth Arden, Richmal Crompton, Virginia Graham, Rumer Godden, Noel Streatfeild, and others. Illustrated with black and white photographic plates and drawings. May require extra postage due to weight of book. .
Synopsis
Years of Grace is a 1930 novel by Margaret Ayer Barnes. It won the Pulitzer Prize for the Novel in 1931.
