Very good. 8vo., 214 pp., light blue decorated cloth, front cover signed bottom right "AM" Alice Morse, t,e,g., edges untrimmed. -- Light scratch to front cover and outer spine joint (see photo), page nine has short closed margin tear. Binding is very slightly cocked. Henry G. Catlin immortalized the life and experiences of the West's mining pioneers in fiction. "Yellow Pine Basin: The Story of a Prospector" (1897) follows the adventures of prospectors Bud and Zeb in the California gold fields.
