FIRST Edition 1998, Beautiful Book, 11.75 inches in height by 11.25 inches in width, comprehensive look at Yellowstone National Park through timeless black and white photographs, comparisons from late 19th century images compared to same scene in 1970, 1980 and 1990. 287 pages including index, heavily illustrated with more than 250 vintage black and white photographs over 120 years. Book is near Fine or better, only flaw is tiny rub on bottom edge of text, else Fine, very clean rust cloth boards with black title to spine, attractive title label affixed into front board, tight and square. Jacket is at least near Fine, bit of wear to top edge of rear panel, crisp photographs on both front and back, shows nicely in a new mylar sleeve. A very clean and most presentable First Edition. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall.
