Synopsis
You Bright and Risen Angels is a 1987 novel by William T. Vollmann, who described the book, his first, as an allegory in part. Vollmann said that it was inspired by his experiences with the mujahedeen in Afghanistan, and that it drew on the language of Lautreamont.
