Colophon states: "Copyright 1939 by ADELLE DAVIS. Entered Station Hall, London, England, 1939. First Printing, 1939. Printed in United States of America." 317 pages, with index, plus charts and plates to rear. A hardcover volume in lightly edgeworn green cloth, with gilt lettering to front and spine. has former owner's name inside front cover, small spot of discoloring to top of front edge, otherwise a solid, clean copy in overall very good condition. Laid-in is what appears to be a loose dust jacket flap from the rare, unseen original dust jacket, containing a short bio of the author below her photograph. .
