Dust jacket is protected by mylar covering and has large open tear to head edge of spine, chipping to spine edges and corners, open and closed tearing to edges, moderate edge wear, and mild shelf wear. Binding somewhat loose. Textblock has splitting to title page gutter and pen inscription on front endpaper. "9-0", "First Edition", and "H-P" on copyright page indicating first printing.
