Author's first book. Author signed inscription to the author Mary Noble. Inlaid is The Peoples Choice magazine number 7 introducing the book and author. Also, two related newspaper clippings from Jacksonville, Florida newspapers.

The dust jacket has shelf wear and small chips on the edges. The end pages where the newspaper clippings were inlaid are discolored. The book's cover, pages and binding are otherwise in very good condition.

The novel is set in the backwoods of northwest Florida
