LONDON: SAMPSON LOW, MARSTON & CO.,LTD AND PLEIADES BOOKS,, 1955 Paper covered illustrated boards repeating the design of the dust jacket, flat spine,190 x 140 mm approx. 60 pp. no 10 in series with children's library advert for Toby Twirl and Nicholas Thomas to rear flap fold. Has all of the issue points for a First Edition but as any Noddy collector will know it is impossible to differentiate these early issues from early reprints. Good/Poor (Book- Shelf rubbing to extremities of boards with bumps to bottom corners.No shelf soiling. This book belongs to box clean. A few of the margins of pages have mild finger soiling. Dust Jacket- Heavily rubbed with creases- 80 mm tear down spine at front fold and associated loss of up to 30 x 12 mm at head of spine -taking out Noddy's Head. Non price clipped- cover 3s 6d.
