New York, NY: The New American Library, 1965. [Spy novel] Dollar Mystery Guild Uniform Edition. Octavo (22 x 15cm), pp.[xii]; 240; [4]. Publisher's black leatherette with gilt titles to spine and yellow leatherette strips to fore-edges. Top edge red; fore-edge untrimmed. With the dust-jacket in grey, titled in white and red. A little toning and spotting, jacket sunned to the spine. Near fine. This is the standard American uniform BCE, from the mid-1960s onwards. The penultimate full-length 007 novel, and basis for the 1967 movie starring Sean Connery as James Bond. Ian Fleming The Bibliography A12b(8).
