Gemstone Publishing, 2006. 4 vols. in slipcase. Very Good in Good slipcase. Slipcase shows shelf and handling wear with rubbed corners, edge wear, and light soiling. Four volumes: Crime Illustrated (Adult Suspense Stories), Confession Illustrated (Adult Romances), Adult Tales of Terror Illustrated (Horror and Suspense), and Shock Illustrated (Adult Crime Stories). All four volumes show very minor shelf and handling wear to their covers with some minor abrasion to the spines as well. Interiors are all crisp, clean, and pristine with no marks. In the gutter of every volume in both the front and the back there is a long thin adhesive bleed-through from production. Overall a clean, solid set showing minimal signs of use. Bound in 1/8 contemporary leather, gilt ruled bands, green faux leather boards, gilt titles, marbled edges. Book in unread condition. Previous owners bookplate. Size 6 3/4" x 4 3/4".
The story is set in the Ptolemaic era of Ancient Egyptian history and revolves around the survival of a dynasty bloodline protected by the Priesthood of Isis.
