The author has taught in a school for the gifted, and receivedher doctorate in education at the University of Sarasota, Florida for her research on gifted children and their parents. Her husband, creator of the Alley Oop caroons, drew the illustrations for this book. Chapter headings include: What Are the Gifted Like?; The Special Needs of Gifted Children; The Basics for Parents, Early Learning; Testing the Gifted et al.
