London: Henry G. Bohn, 1853. xv, 504 pp. 18 x 12 cm. Half leather binding with marbled paper covered boards, with five raised bands and gilt titling to spine, all edges stained red. Rubbing to boards and spine, with wear to corners of boards and some wear to head of spine. 15 mm split at head of rear joint, with splitting all along front joint which seems to have been repaired with glue. Dust soiling to top edge of text block. Some small areas of damage along hinge of front endpapers where excess glue has made the paper stick to itself. Previous owner's name in pencil on first blank page with some small penciled notations on facing page. Interior otherwise clean and unmarked. Binding appears quite firm.. Hard Cover. Good.
