London: Victor Gollancz, 1938. Play about William Sens and the rebuilding of Canterbury Cathedral in 1175-1179. "First Cheap Edition", second printing overall. Paperback. General wear, corners creased, spine ends chipped, pencil notes, ink name, rear cover and perhaps the latter third of pages creased. Laid in is a program from a later production of the play at the Garrick Theatre, still starring at least three of the original actors as mentioned in the book; it is also generally worn, with minor pencil marks. 111 pages in the book, 16 pages (counting covers) in the program, including many ads.. Second Edition. Paperback. Good. 5½" by 8½".
