Boston: Roberts Brothers, 1890. Hardcover. Good. Written by English author Evelyn Whitaker (1844-1929), all of whose works were published anonymously during her lifetime. 181, [11] p.; 17 cm. Yellow cloth with black-stamped spine and cover title and decoration. Publisher's advertisement for other works by the author on half title verso. Ten pages of illustrated publisher's advertisements for children's books follow text. Bookplate on front fixed endpaper of the Evangelical Lutheran Sunday School, Elizabethtown, Pa. In Good Condition: cloth is soiled; ends of spine frayed; slightly cocked; front board slightly creased; lacking both free endpapers; a few page corners creased; minimal internal soiling; tight.
