Delightfully surprised! This book is densely packed with the Goudge magic that I have come to love. So dense that I read it twice in a row and the ending still had me smiling....This is a must read if you like to see the happiness of life.
This book is part of my favorite set of novels I've ever read. It tells the story of the Elliot family settling in to a spectacular country inn, a nearly magical house that leads them all closer to spiritual perfection. I've read this trilogy several times and have shared the blessings of these books with several friends who have all fallen in love with them.You must read this trilogy!
