Slight dampstain on the topedge; dustjacket with corners touched and small creases at the spine ends. Near Fine condition in a Near Fine dustjacket with an archival cover. Flam's first novel. Flam was one of the many writers and artists befriended by Jones while living in Paris. Jones wrote a blurb for the novel in which he included within sixty-six words "remarkable" (twice), "compelling," "singular," "memorable," "extraordinary" and also a favorable comparison to Camus' "L'Etranger." . Inscribed by Author. First Edition. Hardcovers. Near Fine/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Association Copy.
