Cover basically sound but heavily rubbed and rather worn with edge portions gnawed. Lacks leaf preceding half-title and rear free endpaper. Small hole in front cover and first few pages. Stains on endpaper. Contents are also basically sound with light to moderate foxing.Pages 6-56 in this little book relate to the American Colonization Society and the early Baptist missionary efforts in Liberia; Baptist missionary efforts (short-lived and very limited) in Haiti are dealt with on pages 56-67. "Revised by the publishing committee."
