Signed and inscribed by the author on the title page, "For Rosie, Thank you for exploring my America. -James-" A good plus 1st edition with wear along the board edges, most pronounced at the spine tips. A handful of pages with the lower corners bent in from a bump. A clean, bright copy with solid hinges and a very good dustjacket with minimal edgewear and a small chip at the top of the front panel. 191 pp., Strum's look at American history, religion and baseball and the dreams that tied them together.
