Rome: Edizioni Di Storia e Letteratura, 1973. In English. Article reprint from Studi Americani, Rome 1973-1974. Includes an inscription on the front cover: For Marcella, this long-awaited (by me) piece on EP - originally read ....in 1970 at Catholic U. Signature is not legible. Marcella is Marcella Spann Booth, who started visiting Ezra Pound in mid 1956 when he was incarcerated at St. Elizabeth's hospital, and later became his assistant, muse and very close companion, travelling with Pound and his family to live in Italy after his release in 1958. Softcover, about 20 pages. Light yellowing to the edges of the covers, binding sound, pages clean with several light pencil underlines and margin asterisks, a few corrections to text in ink in the same handwriting as on the cover.. Soft Cover. Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
