Small red antiquarian label in pictorial design of a book at front pastedown: "Foyles, Book Sellers, Catalogues Free, 121 Charing Cross Rd., London, Books Bought, We Allow More for Books Bearing this Label." Fully illustrated w/over a hundred scientific, archaeological and cultural data; provocative. Includes rare original dust wrappers. Blue-grey matte printed wrapper features titles and premise summary at front, spine features titles and price GBP 10/6 NET; protected in clear sleeve. Moderate edge wear, rub, toning. Interestingly, the front and back flaps extend unusually close to interior hinges. Second wrapper is a type of plain tissue type wrapper also protected in clear sleeve.
