About This Item

Chicago, IL : Callaghan & Company, 1955 Callaghan & Company, Chicago, IL. 1955. Hardcover. Stated 3rd Edition. Book is tight, square, and unmarked but for doodling (pen ink starter scratching) on the front endpapers and occasional marginal notes and underlining in pen. Book Condition: Very Good; light bumping to head, tail, and tips; light shelfwear to board edges; light soiling to boards; suntanning to spine. No DJ. Blue cloth boards and spine with tarnished gilt lettering on the spine. Clean internals. Interior hinges are sound and not split. 427 pp 4to. This work is designed to present the major principles of the law of real estate and property management as these principles have been developed and enunciated by our courts. Our law comes from two main sources: statutes enacted by the legislature and precedents established by the courts. The opinions of judges included in this volume are so selected as to present both the statutory and the common law together with its interpretation. A clean very presentable copy.
