Valencia: Josef I Thomas de Orga, 1778. Early Edition. Very Good. Three complete volumes. Title to Volume 2: "Vida de Publio Virgilio Maron, con la Noticia de Sus Obras Traducidas en Castellano." Volume 2 also contains: "Las Georgicas de Publio Virgilio Maron, Principe de los Poetas Latinos, Nuevamente Traducidas en Nuestra Lengua Castellana en Verso Suelto." Title to Volume 3: "Continuacion de la Eneida de Publio Virgilio Maron, Traducida por el Dotor Gregorio Hernandez de Velasco el Suplemento de la Eneida de Mafeo Veggio." Volume 3 represents Book IX-XII  from the Aeneid in side by side Latin and Spainsh. Uniformly bound in contemporary vellum with mathing ink inscription on spines and numbered 1, 2, and 3. Vellum to all volumes in very good condition with some light discolorations. Volume 1 is prying from the spine but fully held by tie ins and has a spot on front cover. Inscription from former owner on each ffep in bright but aged ink. A surprising mix of works by and about Virgil, and likely always paird together based on covers. Interiors are lightly toned, but remarkably clean and clear for their age. Some small engravings.
