Venice: Ferrarii, 1570. First Edition. hardcover. near fine. Engraved title page (lightly foxed and soiled with a partially erradicated signature at top edge). One full page woodcut of a knight in armor and numerous illustrations and charts in the text. Small 4to, [16], 254pp., bound in later full plain vellum, with pencilled "Mora" at head of spine and a small early paper library label at foot. There are no other library markings. Very light foxing on a few pages but generally very clean. Untrimmed edges. Venice: Gabriel Giolityo di Ferrarii, 1570 (1569). Excellent copy of the first edition.<br/><br/>
