Montgomery, 1967. unbound. 2 pages (front and back) on an "Executive Mansion" card, measuring 7.75 x 5.25 inches, Montgomery, Alabama, August 8, 1967. In this letter, Wallace thanks Dr. T. Strand Jackson for a gift of 13 dozen roses. Accompanied by hand-addressed envelope as well as a typed letter signed from George C. Wallace as a presidential candidate, signed "George C." to Dr. Jackson, 1 page, 10.5 x 7.25 inches, October 3, 1968. Also included is a scarce "Wallace To Washington '72" bumper sticker. All these items are in very good condition.<br/><br/> George Wallace, Governor of Alabama, was forbidden by Alabama's constitution from succeeding himself in office. He had his wife Lurleen run for Governor in 1966. She was elected by a landslide only to die in office 18 months later.<br/><br/>
