Chicago: The University of Chicago Press, 1933. Rare First Edition. Textblock pages [591 including index] clean, unmarked, with no serious weaknesses to binding [fore- and back-edge seam split], a little age discoloration, and minor soiling, at endpapers and feps; soiling at page edges. PO's name pencilled [and erasable] at endpapers. Tear at top of title page with a small section [ca. 1" x 1"] missing. Navy cloth boards, gilt lettering, shelf wear at extremities, staining [mostly faded spots], and general wear. The author was a pioneer in creating a consciousness of the importance of educators understanding the legal framework within which they operate. Included documentation by Teachers College Record re: first edition status. Social Science Studies, number XXVIII. Media Mail, Priority & most international shipping include free tracking information. Every book listed is located in my smoke free and climate controlled shop. All are inspected by me and will have qualities and/or flaws described. . First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good-.

I endeavour to describe all items correctly but if you find a mistake or omission in the description I will gladly accept a return and I will refund the cost of the book. The item[s] need to be returned within 3 days of receipt and need to be received in the same condition as they were sent. I would prefer it if you could take a minute to contact me to resolve any issues before a return is arranged, possibly making a return unnecessary.
