New York: Putnam, 1858.<br/> <br/> The list of illustrations lists a map of the world which is lacking in this copy. An 1858 reprinting of volume one of the Narrative of the United States Exploring Expedition which was first published in 1845. Ex libris of the New Jersey Historical Society with their bookplate and rubber stamps in several margins. Included among the rubber stamps is the New Jersey Historical withdrawal stamp. A tight, bright copy.<br/> <br/>
