Pencil inscriptions and sticker to front pastedown, title page and rear free endpaper. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Light tanning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Sticker to rear board.

Thomas Nelson, 1898. Believed First Edition. Hardcover. Good. Hardback, no dustwrapper, boards have slight rubbing and wear to edges, one scratch to rear and slight dulling to spine. Frontespiece, school prize plate to front pastedown dated 1900. Text is bright and clean with little wear, hinges are tight. Heavy book, will require additional postage outside the UK.

Very Good/No Jacket. 301pp, neat inscription to free front endpaper, decorative boards are lightly rubbed, there is some weakening of front hinge and one or two marks to page edges but overall a very nice condition copy.
