At my book party in 2002 for "Earthworks," which I had worked on for years, I obtained these signatures from Virginia Dwan, whose gallery organized the first Earthworks show in October 1968, Willoughby Sharp, who organized the first show of this work, Earth Art, at Cornell the following February, the eminent artist Dennis Oppenheim, who was in both of those, and John Gibson, the gallerist who organized "Antiform" in fall 1968 and "Ecologic Art" in Spring 1969
