This is the OVERSIZED (it barely fit in my scanner!) hardcover stated Macmillan Edition from December 1930. Other than covers have edge rubbing and back cover has clipped bottom corner--both have been reinforced with tape, the book is in very good condition. There are no rips, tears, markings, etc.---and the pages and binding are tight (see photo). **Note: All books listed as FIRST EDITIONS are stated by the publisher in words or number lines--or--only stated editions that include only the publisher and publication date. This is a Signed, Limited Edition hardcover book with 318 pages including many illustrations. This book is #310 of 350 copies printed. The binding is strong with all pages firmly attached. The author and illustrator both signed the second end paper. The pages are clean with no soiling, writing, or tears. The copyright page shows 1930 as the published date. The black slipcase shows just a hint of edgewear and some light soiling. The covers are clean and in great shape. This old book with slipcase looks and feels great!
