London: Heinemann, 1947. 1955 . Hardcover. Very Good -/Good. The interior of the book is clean and tight, with no marks or wear. The light blue covers show light wear and fading to edges and corners. The dust jacket is price-clipped, and is in Good condition, with light edgewear, shallow chipping on the spine. The jacket is now in a protective mylar cover, and looks attractive, but a bit shabby. Contents: Set in the Napoleonic period, this book continues the adventures of Charlotte d'Esparrre from "The Sea Without a Haven".

There is a gift inscription to a former owner (Christmas 1941), but no other marks. The blue cloth covers are also in very good condition, with a bit of wear to edges and corners, but no major problems. The gilt spine lettering has dulled. The dust jacket is not price-clipped, and shows a bit of edgewear, but no tears or nicks. The jacket is now in a protective mylar cover.
