John Hudson Poole of Pasadena, California, passing on some words of praise about Poole he heard from a friend who had served in the Army under General Dawes (author of these two books) . Poole, a one-time Army officer and a White House military aide under Theodore Roosevelt, committed suicide in 1940. Illustrated with b&w photos; 334 pp. And 283 pp. Including index.
