A complete collection of 20 parts of David Copperfield, a facsimile of Dickens' work first published by Bradbury & Evans, Whitefriars, London, May 1849 - November 1850. Includes more than 160 pages the advertisements and inserts that accompanied the original. Certificate of Authenticity included. Each part in fine condition, housed in navy blue card stock wallet as issued, and each with its own front paste down label that identifies the title, author, and part number. Again, scarce to be found as a complete set, particularly in such fine condition..

This is the "Copyright Edition" of Charles Dicken's eighth novel. 16mo, vi, 322pp, 386pp and 430pp. In the publisher's green gilt cloth; plain spine with gilt title. Spine ends a bit rubbed, short crease to gilt rule bottom of spine. Internally, period signature at front end paper; scattered fox spotting, otherwise a very pleasant copy.
