A Very Good copy of the first edition, second impression in the Publisher's peach-coloured boards with the front board lettered and lined in gilt and the spine lettered, lined, and decorated in gilt, in the green dust jacket lettered and decorated in red and showing general wear to the spine ends and to the panel corners and edges. W. Russell Flint (1880-1969) was was a Scottish Artist (and illustrator) best-known for his watercolours and depictions of the female body. A Very Good copy.

The author writes the book from the viewpoint of the "Delineator", the recorder of these charming people but who showed "lack of restraintin portraying the undraped forms of youthful womankind".
