Light wear & soiling on edges of text block. Small tear on top edge of page 251. Large stain on page 253. Dj shelf worn with scuffs, creases, soiling, fading & small tears. Dust jacket in a mylar cover.

Big Sky series. Ex-library book has usual markings, stamps, stickers, writing, card holder. DJ with Mylar covering and bumping, rubbing and wear on the top, spine, edges, corners. Top stain of black, but fading in some area. Outer edges have tanning, browning, stains and foxing. Deckled edges. Guttering has happened inbetween the first fly leaf page and the title page. Pages are still intact and binding is still strong. Dampstain has caused some of the black gilt stain bleed just a bit onto the pages but is not interfering with the reading material in any way. The fourth volume in a series of books that focused on development of the American West, beginning in about 1830 and extending to World War. The Leftover set. Not the best of the titles I have for sale, but too nice not to list them. #1. The Big Sky, 1947 stated First Printing, the book has tape residue on the inside covers, the outside covers, moderate wear, bumps, and soiling and missing 2 blank pages rear. The book is gap filler all the way, but if putting the 6 volume Big Sky Series you have to have this title. DJ, I have no idea where it came from, and it's smaller than the book and is Rough, with too many defects to list, and its ex-lib also. #2 ARFIVE, 3rd Printing 1970 VG. This book is collectible for any printing and with its original DJ, tight, clean, and square, bruised spine ends. DJ: Spine lightly sunned, minor shelf wear, soiled(could be cleaned up) in mylar, price intact. #3 THE WAY WEST, no DJ, stated First Printing with the Blue-ish Green(true 1st Ed) cloth spine with the silver lettering, lightly rubbed spine ends, and very tip of the corners.
