No wear or marks but the spines and extremities sunned as often. Single volumes appear on the market ocassionally but rarely found in the complete set. Each voulune is a fine copy and also still present are the flaps that fold over from the fore-edge of the front covers and tuck into the rear of the text block protecting the fore-edges. Each with a silk tie. Each volume has an engraved map and text vignette illustrations. The volume 'The West and Connamara has a small owners name in ink dated 1853 to the top of the front free end-paper.. 1st Edition. Hardba. Fine. 8vo.
